Appetizer with prosciutto and pears

These elegant bites are incredibly easy to prepare yet impressively delicious and visually appealing.

Perfect for when you have guests but limited time, this recipe combines the sweet juiciness of the pears with the savory richness of prosciutto for a quick, tasty appetizer that’s sure to delight.

Ingredients: (for 10 pieces)

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 20 slices of prosciutto
  • canned pears
  • sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 egg
  • spicy gorgonzola
  • seed mix (optional)

Preparation:

Thaw the puff pastry. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pastry sheet lengthwise using a rolling pin. Cut the sheet into 5 equal sections. On each piece, gently score a 1 cm border around the edge without cutting all the way through.

Place the cut pastry sheets onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper (a standard tray fits 3 pieces per batch). On each sheet, arrange pieces of gorgonzola, pear slices, and sun-dried tomatoes, then top with two torn slices of prosciutto. Brush the edges with beaten egg and sprinkle with seeds, if desired.aram pe ea seminte.

Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 7–10 minutes, keeping an eye on them to prevent burning.

They’re delicious fresh from the oven, crispy and warm, but just as enjoyable when served cold.
