Delicious, easy and quick to prepare, and full of flavors, this dish will convince even those who are not big fans of Brussels sprouts. I promise.
Ingredients: (for ~ 4-5 servings)
- 1 kg of Brussels sprouts
- 350 ml cooking cream
- 100 g grated parmesan
- 400 g raw bacon
- pepper
- 4 cloves of garlic
- the juice of a lemon

Preparation:
Wash and clean the Brussels sprouts. Cut a little bit of the “base,” and then cut the sprouts in half . Grate the parmesan on a small grater. Squeeze the juice from the lemon. Peel the garlic and crush it with a garlic-press.

In a large pan or wok, fry the bacon. Brown it until it becomes crispy, then remove it with the help of a spatula, drain well, and let it cool in a bowl.

In the fat left in the pan from the bacon, put the brussels sprouts, add pepper, and mix well. Put the lid on, and let it cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring periodically.

Add the garlic, mix well, and cook for another 1 minute. Add the cream, mix, and let it cook for about 2 minutes, stirring gently from time to time. Turn off the heat, add the grated parmesan, mix well, and then add the crispy bacon and mix.

Done 🙂
Add extra salt at the end, only after tasting the food (it might not need extra salt because of the bacon).
Both the bacon and the parmesan are salty, so be careful.

Brussels sprouts are so soft, and they melt in your mouth.
This dish is full of flavors and ideal for winter days.
