Fresh lemonade with mint and honey

This drink is perfect for hot summer days. It’s refreshing, healthy, packed with vitamins, and definitely a much better and smarter choice than sugary sodas when you want to enjoy a tasty beverage without any guilt afterward.

Ingredients: (For 1 liter of lemonade)

  • 1 large lemon
  • 2-3 sprigs of fresh mint
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of honey
  • Ice cubes (as many as you like)

Preparation:
Slice the lemon, then cut the slices in half. Before adding them to the pitcher, squeeze them gently to release some juice directly into it. Wash the mint and roughly chop it with a knife, then add it to the pitcher along with the lemon pieces. Add a tablespoon of honey (or more, depending on how sweet you like it), toss in the ice cubes, fill the pitcher with water to the top, stir everything thoroughly, and serve as you like.

You’ll end up with a delicious and healthy lemonade. In our home, it’s a staple from spring through late autumn: always a perfect alternative to sugary drinks. You can easily double the quantities if you want to make a larger batch or cut them in half if you’re only preparing enough for two glasses, for example.

If you try the recipe, let me know how you liked it! 😊
