With coffee or tea, a piece of banana cake makes everything better ☺️
Ingredients: (for 12 servings – for a 25 cm diameter tray)
- 250 g butter
- 2-3 ripe bananas
- 300 of sugar
- 3 large eggs
- vanilla essence
- 15 g baking powder
- 200 g flour
- 40 ml milk
- 40 g sesame seeds

Preparation:
Prepare a tray with baking paper. Peel the bananas and cut them into equal slices of approximately 0.5 cm. Place them in the tray and make sure to cover the entire surface of the tray.

Put 100 g of sugar and 50 g of butter in a pan or pot and melt them together for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour the obtained mixture into the pan over the bananas and distribute evenly with the help of a spatula. Leave it aside.

In a bowl, add the rest of the butter and the rest of the sugar and, using a hand mixer, mix them for 5 minutes until you get an aerated and smooth composition. Then, add the eggs one by one, mixing for about a minute after each egg is added. Then add vanilla extract and flour and mix until everything is well incorporated. In the end, add the baking powder and sesame seeds and mix a little more, just enough to incorporate them. Turn on the oven and let it heat up to 180 degrees Celsius.

Transfer the obtained dough to the pan on top of the bananas. Distribute evenly with a spatula. Put in the oven and bake for ~45-50 minutes or until the cake is well browned and passes the toothpick test.

Let it cool for about half an hour, and then flip it over on a plate. Carefully remove the baking paper and let it cool down a bit.

You can serve it with whipped cream or simply.
