This delicious pasta combines vibrant pesto with crunchy walnuts for a delightful texture and rich flavor. Quick and easy to prepare, it requires just a handful of ingredients, making it the perfect go-to meal for busy days or a cozy dinner at home. Simple, satisfying, and full of taste!
Ingredients: (for 4-6 servings)
- 500 g pasta of your choice (I used tagliolini)
- About 150 g grated Parmesan or Grana Padano
- About 100–150 g walnut kernels
- 3 tablespoons pine nuts
- 5–6 garlic cloves
- Approximately 50–70 ml olive oil
- 4–5 generous sprigs of fresh basil
- Salt and pepper

Preparation:
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
Meanwhile, prepare the pesto in a small food processor: rinse the basil leaves with warm water and place them in the processor. Add the grated cheese, peeled garlic cloves, olive oil, and pine nuts. Blend until you achieve a smooth paste. Season with a pinch of pepper and adjust the salt to taste.

Lightly toast the walnut kernels in a pan over medium heat. Be careful not to burn them.

Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and toss it with the pesto sauce and toasted walnuts. Mix well until the pesto is evenly coated over the pasta. Serve on plates and, if desired, garnish with a fresh basil leaf on top. Serve warm. Simple to prepare and incredibly delicious! 🙂
