Smoothie bar – Vegetarian

Who says healthy has to be boring? This smoothie bar brings together three colourful, creamy, and delicious smoothie recipes that are perfect for any occasion. Set them up as a fun, fresh dessert option at a party, create a smoothie station for guests, or meal prep them for the week so you have a delicious and nutritious breakfast ready to go every morning.

Made with wholesome ingredients like milk, coconut milk, yoghurt, bananas, passion fruit, mango, avocado, oranges, chia seeds, fresh spinach, mint, coconut flakes, pomegranate seeds, and raisins, these smoothies are packed with flavour and nutrients.

Bananas and mangoes provide natural sweetness and energy, avocado adds healthy fats and creaminess, while oranges and passion fruit bring vitamin C and antioxidants. Spinach adds a boost of vitamins and minerals, chia seeds provide fibre and omega-3s, and yoghurt contributes protein and calcium. A touch of honey adds gentle sweetness, while coconut and mint give the smoothies a fresh, tropical twist.

With approximately 250–400 calories per serving (depending on the ingredients and portions), these smoothies make a balanced breakfast, snack, or lighter dessert. They’re easy to prepare, full of goodness, and proof that nutritious food can be colourful, fun, and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients: (for 6 big smoothies or 12 regular size)

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 passion fruits
  • 6 medium oranges
  • A few sprigs of fresh mint
  • 4 tbsp raisins
  • 4 tbsp dried coconut flakes
  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • 4 ripe mangoes
  • 1 pomegranate
  • Honey, to taste
  • 150 g Greek yoghurt
  • 250 ml coconut milk
  • 100 ml milk
  • 50 g fresh spinach

Preparation:

You will need a large blender, which will be used to prepare all three smoothie variations.

Smoothie No. 1: Mango & Passion Fruit Smoothie

Remove the pomegranate seeds and set them aside. Peel 2 mangoes and cut them into chunks. Cut one passion fruit in half.

Add the mango, honey, coconut milk, and Greek yoghurt to the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, until you achieve a silky smoothie texture.

Divide the smoothie between 2 bowls (or 4 smaller ones if you prefer smaller portions) and decorate with chia seeds, pomegranate seeds, and half (or a quarter) of a passion fruit.

Smoothie No. 2: Banana, Avocado & Spinach Smoothie

For the second smoothie, squeeze the juice from 5 oranges, add the bananas, avocado, fresh spinach, a few mint leaves, and honey to the blender together with the milk. Blend until smooth and creamy, reaching your preferred consistency.

Divide the smoothie between 2 bowls (or 4 smaller ones) and decorate with pomegranate seeds, chia seeds, shredded coconut, raisins, and a few fresh mint leaves.

Smoothie No. 3: Mango, Orange & Passion Fruit Smoothie

For the third smoothie, scoop out the seeds from the remaining passion fruit, squeeze the juice from the last orange, and peel and slice the remaining 2 mangoes. Add honey to taste.

Place everything in the blender and mix until smooth, reaching your preferred consistency.

Divide the smoothie between bowls and decorate with chia seeds, raisins, coconut flakes, and pomegranate seeds. For an extra fresh touch, you can also add a few mint leaves on top.

And there you have it: three delicious smoothie creations that are as beautiful as they are nourishing! Whether you serve them as a fun smoothie bar for a party, enjoy them as a refreshing dessert, or prepare them ahead for busy mornings, these recipes are a simple way to add more fruits, vegetables, and wholesome ingredients to your day.

With their creamy textures, vibrant colours, and naturally sweet flavours, they’re proof that healthy choices can feel like a little treat. Prepare your favourite combination, get creative with the toppings, and enjoy a fresh, energising start to your day!
