
During summer, salad possibilities are endless—you can mix and match ingredients and flavors to create a variety of delicious combinations. Sometimes, the most unexpected pairings lead to the tastiest salads, perfect for lunch, dinner, or even brunch.
Ingredients: (for 2 people – if you’re making it for one, simply halve the quantities)
- 2 small avocados or one large
- 2 spring onions
- 8 medium cucumbers
- 2 larger tomatoes
- 8 thin slices of lean pork ham
- Vinegar
- Olive oil
- About 20 strawberries
- Salt & pepper

Preparation:
Peel and slice the cucumbers, then place them in a bowl. Add the washed, finely chopped spring onions. Slice the tomatoes and add them in as well. Cut the ham into long strips and mix it with the rest of the ingredients. Wash the strawberries, quarter them, and add them to the bowl. Finally, peel and slice the avocado, placing it on top. Drizzle with olive oil, add a splash of vinegar, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve.
Simple, delicious, and healthy. For a vegetarian version, just leave out the pork ham.
