Who doesn’t love a warm, freshly baked biscuit with a little fruity twist?

These Tender Biscuits with Physalis and Cranberries are so easy to whip up, you’ll be munching on them in no time.

The combination of tangy physalis and sweet cranberries gives them the perfect balance of flavors, making them the ideal treat with your coffee, tea, or just as a snack when you need something delicious. Soft, flavorful, and irresistible, these biscuits might just become your new favorite go-to recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 200 g physalis
  • 100 g cranberries
  • 100 g soft butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 vanilla extracts
  • 330 g flour

Preparation:

In a bowl, combine the soft butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and vanilla essence. Mix until the sugar is fully dissolved and no longer grainy. Next, add the flour and baking powder, and stir until well combined. Finally, fold in the halved physalis fruits and cranberries.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Using floured hands, scoop small portions of the dough and place them on the tray, continuing until all the dough is used.

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes. Once done, let the biscuits cool on the tray before transferring them to a serving platter.
