Super delicious, super quick, and super easy to make, this dish will delight your taste buds. You can serve it with plain rice or eat it on its own.
Ingredients: (for 2 servings – served without rice or anything else)
- ~500 g lean beef
- 350 g green beans
- 1 large bell pepper
- 4-5 cloves garlic
- 20 g fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons mirin sauce (if you don’t have any, you can use a tablespoon of honey or skip this ingredient altogether)
- 1 heaped tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 80 ml soy sauce
- pepper
- sunflower oil
- sesame seeds

Preparation:
Wash the meat, cut it in half lengthwise if necessary, and then cut it into thin, even slices. Set aside.

Wash and clean the vegetables as follows: remove the ends from the beans, cut the pepper into strips, cut the ginger into thin slices, and cut the garlic into slices. If you like it spicy, you can add a chili pepper.

In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and cornstarch. Mix well and set aside.

In a large wok, heat a little bit of oil, and fry the meat in batches for about 1-2 minutes or until it starts to brown and is no longer pink. When it is done, remove them, put them into a bowl, and add the next batch, and so on. I

When you have finished browning the meat, in the same wok, add a little more oil and brown the beans. Cook over medium heat for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the pepper and cook for about 2 minutes. Add the ginger and garlic, mix well, and cook for about 2 minutes.

Add the meat back into the wok, mix well, and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Add the previously prepared soy sauce and a cup of water, mix well, and put a lid on the pot.
Let it cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until the beans are cooked but still crispy, stirring occasionally. Do not cook the food too long, not until the beans are completely soft.
Turn off the heat and add the sesame seeds. Mix well.

Serve as is or with boiled basmati rice. You can add a bowl of extra soy sauce when serving for those who feel the need to add more.

Delicious, nutritious, and fast to prepare.
